"Formats" should respect the the "Language" setting
Example settings for "Region & Language": Language: English (en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8) Formats: Deutschland (de_DE.UTF-8 UTF-8)
Currently days/months are displayed in german, which results in a disruptive look and feel, while the rest of the UI is in english. Goal would be to have english (language setting) names for weekdays/months while still respecting the format setting (start of week / format of date)
As far as I understand this how locales work, so I'm not sure if it's 'fixable'.
Maybe there is a simple solution for this problem, or a workaround (like using 'language' locale just for weekday/month names) could be implemented.
Also not sure if this is the correct project or, if this should be in "gnome-calendar"/"gnome-shell" for calendar app/head clock widget?
