[enhancement] suitable/editable Bluetooth name
Currently:
Bluetooth broadcast name is "wrong":
- it is not the
etc/hostname
[https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/hostname.html] - neither
/etc/machine-info
[https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/machine-info.html] - and neither the
Device Name
from the same GNOME's System Info page.
And more serious it is not editable.
Here is a screenshot of the faulty: "ChromeLinux_D56B" has nothing to do with my system!
Proposal:
Default Bluetooth name should adhere to other names in the system...
Furthermore, it should be editable, in the same way we do in with System Info.
Even if a definitive solution would be a redirect from Bluetooth Name's page to System Info's page in order to have a global-consistent device name*.
*where, device name stands for a human-readable identifier for the machine. I think freedesktop's systemd already have a concise idea here[https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/machine-info.html] and here[https://www.freedesktop.org/software/systemd/man/hostname.html]
NB: There is a ten years-old issue on Bugzilla [https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=658154] , related to this one
