to have an option that user can select "bits per color (bpc)"
According to the https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/-/issues/1890 and LP: #1890772 No signal on 4K 60Hz DisplayPort monitor by default, until "max bpc" is lowered to 8, we know ANY component on the pipeline between host to monitor(e.g. socket, converter, dongle, cable, monitor) could impact the compatibility on video/audio transferring bandwidth. So, it would be convenient that user can adjust bpc by gnome setting when the user get a problem(e.g. dark screen, audio lost) with any poor component on pipeline between host to monitor.
Proposed Mockups: expose an option allowing user selecting "max bpc" on display setting page. (Add mockups of the proposed feature)
