Weird behaviour of "Allow Over-Amplification" Switch in Sound Menu
Issue: The Over Amplification Key has slightly weird behavior. If the switch is on, and volume is set to > 100%, and the switch is then turned off, the volume remains greater than 100%.
Detailed description of the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Settings(Sound Menu)
- Switch on the Over Amplification Option in System Volume
- Increase Volume to greater than 100%
- Switch off the Over-Amplification Key.
Resultant Behavior
The volume remains greater than 100% and the sound icon in the top-bar shows over-amplified sound.
Expected Behavior:
Volume should get reduced to 100%
OS Details:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Gnome 3.36
