Accept current directory shorthand ("." aka 'period') as path for pane(s) when starting application
If I am starting Gnome Commander from a terminal window, and would like it to load the current directory in one or both panes, I would like it to accept "." as the path. With Midnight Commander I would be able to type "mc . ." to load the current directory in both panes. I tried "gnome-commander -l . -r .", but it just loaded the HOME directory in both panes instead.
