smooth animation for flipping board around

Description
When the Board Orientation setting is set to Current Player, the board flips around every move. But currently that's not animated at all: the board simply switches to the opposite position, which is jarring. Instead, it would be nice to have an animation which spins the board around quickly (both in 2-D and 3-D mode).
