Clicking "until date" for recurring events will not open up the input box to select the date that the event ends recurring on
Affected version
OS: Arch Linux GNOME Calendar version: 41.2
Bug summary
When creating a repeating event, you can choose how long the event repeats: forever, a number of occurences or until a date. Selecting the "Until Date" option is supposed to bring up a box that allows you to enter the date at which you want the repetitions to end; however, selecting "Until date" does not bring up such an input box.
Steps to reproduce
- Create an event.
- Select repeat weekly
- Select "Until Date" for end repeat
- Observe that the input box to select the end date does not come up.
- Select "Number of occurences" from the end repeat selection to bring up the number of occurances input box
- Re-select the "Until Date" option, and observe that the input box shows up now.
What happened
I selected the option to end repetitions on a date, but the input box to select the date didn't show up. I selected some other options (Number of occurances) and saw that that one worked, so I retried the "Until date" option and finally saw that I now had the input box to specify an end date
What did you expect to happen
I expected that as soon as I selected the "until date" option that the dialog box that allows me to select the date was supposed to show up.
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
As you can se here, the date input box is not shown
I select "number of occurences" and the input box shows up:
Reselecting "until date" now shows the input box:
