Bug summary
Noticed unusually high CPU load, 1 core continuously at 100%, and the culprit was /usr/bin/gnome-calendar --gapplication-service
.
The user interface was not opened at the time.
After sending SIGTERM to the process, it was started again after opening the GNOME Calendar user interface, and since then no more unusual CPU load has been observed.
Steps to reproduce
Unknown. The system was put into standby a few times, also an EteSync calendar provider is being used.
What happened
GNOME Calendar used far more CPU resources than would be reasonable for its normal background operation
What did you expect to happen
Function without continuously using 100% of one CPU core
