Make date & time picker more intelligent
There are a handful of usability things that I've noticed are lacking in GNOME Calendar compared to that of Mac OS Calendar, which save loads of time creating new events.
-
Upon unchecking the "All day" box, the "Ends" date value should adjust to being the same day. Example, if the day a user is adding an event to has "Start" value of 03/11/16, then End value of 03/12/16 (when All day is selected), should become 03/11/16
-
If the "Ends" time value is with the default value "00:00" upon entering a value for "Starts" time, that "Ends" value should adjust to +1 hour from that value.
-
If the date selected for adding an event is "today" auto set the "Starts" time value to +1 hr from "current time" and "Ends" time value to +1 of that value.
These simple UX tweaks will save users loads of time and will make the "Add / Edit Event" picker widget feel more responsive and intelligent!
