Flatpaks are broken
Known issue, but filing this mostly as a way for me (and possibly others) to get a notification when this gets fixed eventually:
- The stable flatpak is an outdated version (3.28.0), and it depends on the GNOME 3.24 runtime, and it also tries to install the whole GNOME SDK which weighs a ton (gigabytes, last time I checked)
- The master version won't run without some intricate commands
$ flatpak --user install https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-apps-nightly/plain/gnome-calendar.flatpakref?h=stable

The only way to run master is to use a terminal (not the flatpak-installed desktop launcher) and run flatpak run --runtime=org.gnome.Platform//3.28 org.gnome.Calendar
(which is really not easily guessed, I had to ask around)
