Setting meeting time is way too hard

I'm trying to create a meeting from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. It's too hard. Screencast attached.

  • I set the start time of the meeting to 8:30 AM. So far so good.
  • Now I want to change the end time of the meeting. But changing the end time of the meeting automatically changes the start time of the meeting to the wrong time, and even the wrong day.
  • I set the start time of the meeting back to the right time. That changes the end time of the meeting to the wrong time and day again.

I go through this struggle every single time I want to create an event. Please consider alternative workflows here. For instance, instead of automatically changing any of the times (which is never what the user wants to happen), the Done button could be insensitive when the end time is not after the start time. Would that work OK?
