Too verbose by default, filling up system session logs with debugging information
Currently, the Calendar nightly flatpak is very chatty by default, writing a ton of spurious information to the logs, even when running the app as a GUI only (not from a terminal, not in debug mode, etc.). Presumably this is not intended (Georges can object if it actually is intended and should not be disabled), as I believe it obscures actually relevant information, may cause extra wear and tear on storage devices, and might be a potential privacy risk.
To reproduce, simply run journalctl -f
in a terminal and watch as GNOME Calendar fills it up with non-critical (i.e. not errors, not warnings) information like this:
