Importing ICS event into Google Calendar fails without indicating failure
Hi, when I double click on an ICS file to open it in GNOME Calendar, this launches the event import dialog. The dialog works fine for importing events into my local calendar. But if I try to instead import the event into my Google calendar, it fails and does nothing. There is no UI indication that anything went wrong, except the event is not created as expected. This seems extremely severe as it will undoubtedly cause people to miss meetings.
There is a warning in my terminal:
(gnome-calendar:228827): GcalImportDialog-WARNING **: 12:20:08.949: Error creating events: Cannot create calendar object: Failed to put data: HTTP error code 404 (Not Found)
Calendar should (a) ideally not fail, but more importantly (b) display the warning in the user interface somehow, so users understand the event creation failed.
