Project Tree uses parent of .git's realpath instead of user-specified directory (When Git plugin is active)
Using 3.31.91
Nightly flatpak.
When a project's .git
directory is being redirected to another location, the project tree panel will use the parent directory of the real location of the gitdir
instead of the directory the user specified as the project root (or even the root of the repository's working tree). This applies whether .git
is a symlink or Git's built-in --separate-git-dir
option is being used (which creates a .git
file that specifies the location of the gitdir
).
