Severe Memory Leak With HTML Preview
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Can't test it because it will not start. (Crashes instantly.).
- Other: Fedora Linux 37 (Workstation Edition)
Steps to reproduce
- Open HTML preview.
- Continuously resize the HTML preview. (Dragging back and forth, perhaps for responsive design testing.)
Current behavior
The system RAM slowly fills with bogus data, won't show up in system monitor. (The RAM usage doesn't "add up.") This can cause a full system crash.
The RAM does not free after a user logout.
Expected behavior
The RAM is utilized properly.
Additional information
Applies to Fedora RPM 43.4 and Flathub 43.6. I disabled XML language enablement.
EDIT:
I notice a lot of WebKit processes spawning.
EDIT: System memory usage after the user has logged out and logged back in.
