Failure to snapshot widgets without allocations
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: Fedora 36 - Builder 43
Steps to reproduce
- Use wayland session
- Open a project (a rust project in my case)
- Write some code (I am not sure I can pin point a specific interaction other than this)
Current behavior
The window content freezes, both side panel and editor (not the header bar, which is still responsive). The application itself is still responding, just not the internal widgets.
This only happen under Wayland, as far as I can tell. Under Xorg I worked for 1 hour without a single glitch.
Additional information
Running with --verbose
just prior the ui glitch described above there is a warning:
Gtk-WARNING **: 19:45:34.813: Trying to snapshot GtkGizmo 0x5571ed906b10 without a current allocation. If nobody noticed this I am assuming this could be a good old nvidia related bug.
