Feature Request: Linters for reStructuredText

I would love to see linters and checkers for other languages alongside Cargo/Clippy for Rust.

It looks like doc8 and rstcheck are commonly used for rST.

Having linting support would help with the workflow of validating that our documentation is written sanely and correctly.

I lack the technical competence to evaluate either option beyond that doc8 is more recently updated and both were apparently used in Visual Studio Code at some point.
