Can't activate timers
Hello!
Thanks for your great work.
Until recently (I have the suspicion that a Manjaro update might be to blame for updating gnome-break-timer to version 2.0.3), the application worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, now when I run gnome-break-timer-settings
I just get the message:
Break Timer isn't responding
Flipping the switch does not change anything. If I then run gnome-break-timer-daemon
, then the regular window with the times until the next breaks is displayed. However, the time does not run down and the following messages are displayed in the terminal:
(gnome-break-timer-daemon:1675628): Gtk-WARNING **: 00:39:44.878: Theme parsing error: gtk-dark.css:6360:24: 'none' is not a valid color name
(gnome-break-timer-daemon:1675628): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 00:39:44.894: invalid (NULL) pointer instance
(gnome-break-timer-daemon:1675628): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 00:39:44.894: g_signal_handlers_disconnect_matched: assertion 'G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed
** (gnome-break-timer-daemon:1675628): WARNING **: 00:39:44.894: MutterActivityMonitorBackend.vala:83: Mutter idle monitor disappeared
I tried googling that critical error but could not find any helpful results.
When issuing qdbus org.gnome.BreakTimer /org/gnome/BreakTimer org.gnome.BreakTimer.GetStatusMessages
, I get the following message:
restbreak: BREAK_TIMER_DAEMON_BREAK_BREAK_CONTROLLER_STATE_WAITING, I:2400, D:360
microbreak: BREAK_TIMER_DAEMON_BREAK_BREAK_CONTROLLER_STATE_WAITING, I:360, D:30
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
