Also ask "Run in background" while installing a new VM
I always want my VMs to run in background. I didn't find a global Run in background
that is applied to all the VMs.
I am always baffled by the fact that my VM was paused/suspended? without my permission.
My workflow is mostly like:
- Setup a new VM (i.e. install from a
.iso
and run the full OS installer, restart and setup First boot experience too) - Start installing my tools/update (
dnf update
/dnf builddep
etc. This possibly takes quite a while) - I leave the VM here to do something else and wait to finish.
- Few minutes/hours later, I check that my VM was no longer running (because I didn't tick
Run in background
and the network I/O was stopped due to suspension. :(
Another option that possibly can address this, is that expose the "Run in background" setting while setting up new VMs. Thoughts?
