Major regression: can't create VM without ISO
Affected version
- Boxes version: 45.0-stable
- Operating system name and version: openSUSE slowroll
Steps to reproduce
- Try to create a Windows 11-compatible VM without a Windows 11 ISO
Seen behavior
There seems to be a major regression: I can't create a VM anymore, it seems like. It asks me to either specify a OS for download (which doesn't list the one I want) or to specify a DVD image, which I'm not interested in using. I would like to create a Windows 11 VM suitable VM, but then manually exchange storage and add in other volumes I already have (but I want to start out with a blank one), and it simply doesn't seem to be possible anymore. Since the purpose of GNOME boxes seems to be to let me make and use VMs, this seems like quite a showstopper.
My apologies if it's still possible and I'm just being too silly to find the button, but I really can't see it.
Expected behavior
Button to create VM for compatibility with a specific OS without picking an install source
