Doc: Landing page for Unicode functions
docs.gtk.org/glib doesn't seem to have anything like the following page on developer-old, which collects all Unicode-related functions into one place: https://developer-old.gnome.org/glib/unstable/glib-Unicode-Manipulation.html
The closest thing I found is this, which contains no function info: https://docs.gtk.org/glib/unicode.html
The full collection is very helpful when I don't know exactly what I want yet. I like to browse the entire set of functions related to a topic.
I've had this complaint about a lot of the docs on docs.gtk.org/glib. Maybe there's already an issue for it? I didn't find one.
Unless there's some data type (e.g., GHashTable
) that unifies a group of functions, it can be very difficult to find all the info I want.
Even if there is some unifying page, it can be hard to find. As another example, I work with code that uses GOptionEntry
. If I find the docs for GOptionEntry
[1], it doesn't mention or link to the landing page[2] at all.

[2] https://docs.gtk.org/glib/goption.html
Yet another example is the functions that process gchar
s, like g_strchomp()
[3]. There's no pointer to the landing page[4].

I'm reluctant to rely on something with "old" in the URL, but I usually find myself reaching for it.
Is this an area that you're already working on improving?
