GtkTextTag properties cannot be set to default values
GtkTextTag
s have priorities, so it may be the case that you want to set one to apply what would otherwise be a default value. For example, if you wanted to do some filtering, you might create an invisible
tag with invisible=True
and a visible
tag with invisible=False
with a higher priority. Then apply the invisible
tag to all text and the visible
tag to some small portion. Because of the priorities, only the small portion remains visible.
But you can't do that with Glade because it won't let you set the visible
tag to have invisible=False
since that's the default value. You need to manually edit the .ui file to achieve this.
