Dash: on close, selection should display back the gear menu

I've noticed the gear menu is always available (for both dash and repository view).

In the dash, when you start selection, this menu is hidden. Although when you cancel / close the selection, the menu is not displayed back.

This MR fixes that behavior to get back the gear menu on selection close.
