High CPU usage, suspicious messages
gitg displays some weird behaviour for me, and I'm sorry that I won't be of much help, probably. I suspect the following are multiple, maybe fully independent bugs.
- I experience high CPU usage with gitg. I feel like this is all the time, it may just be my impression though or happen on every git repo I opened recently.
- When browsing through individual commits, gitg takes varyingly long to display commit details and changes.
- On one particular commit (https://github.com/EvanAgee/vuejs-wordpress-theme-starter/commit/3b3e671967b6482fd85e1c2c994da29b1f19d0dc#diff-1234030c24487924d6e6d4975ec31a6a), gitg doesn't render the green/red diff bar of
src/components/partials/Header.vue
and is empty when expanded (while CPU usage rises)
The following messages appear in the terminal:
env: ‘/home/ubuntu/buildbot/runners/wine/tkg-4.6-x86_64/bin/wine’: No such file or directory
ERROR: failed to create pixbuf: Unrecognised image file format
ERROR: failed to create pixbuf: XML parse error: Error domain 1 code 5 on line 57 column 1 of data: Extra content at the end of the document
-
So there's also probably a remnant of building here that could be uncritical but means something got handled improperly
-
Aand after leaving it open for longer while writing this issue, gitg just exited on me with this:
Gdk-Message: 13:41:16.072: Lost connection to Wayland compositor.
