PNG increased file size after reedited
Environment/Versions
Windows 10 x64 22H2 / GIMP 2.10.34
Description of the bug
I created PNG file from XCF using some sort of export options (saved as default) and got small file 983 bytes. It was simple arrow directed to left. I named it "arrow left.png". Then i renamed the file to "arrow right.png", reedited it in GIMP and made mirror of the original image. No more changes. I saved modified image using "export to filename" (the option where user doesn't have to set export option or filename).
After that file size increased to 7567 bytes (?). After investigated it appeared that when PNG is exported from XCF follow options are not used:
- save Exif data, XMP, IPTC, and save thumbnail. doesn't matter if i selected these or not.
But when i reexport PNG to PNG these options play a role, because if I manually disable them then reexported file gets to 983 bytes again.
