"default" printing option interpreted by gimp differently
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version:2.10.30
- Package: flatpak
- Operating System: linux mint
Description of the bug
the default setting print->advanced->output control common->color correction->default results in the image being printed lighter by Gimp than it would be by .pdfs or postscript files.
AlwaysReproduction steps:
- Make a small black box
- Print it out, is it as black as it should be?
- Print to a pdf file, and then print the pdf. The square is now blacker.
- Set to raw, print->advanced->output control common->color correction->raw
- Try printing it again in Gimp, it should now be as black as the pdf version. …
Additional information
Printer is Canon ip7250, greyscale, no idea how this plays out with a colour print.
