Ability to quickly switch between (transparency) check styles
Description: Alpha channel's checkerboard style option exposed as a menu similar to padding color
Use cases
I often work with a project that has a transparent background and many times I need to see if the project looks good againts darker and lighter colors alike, especially when I adjust the edges which can blend in with one of these colors even if it's checkered, so I either have to go to Peferences and temporarly change the colors there or I need to set up one or multiple backgrounds as plus layers. (Which is fairly easy, I admit, but why would I have to if the Check Style already supports one-color-only that I could just use with a shortcut, right?) --- It would be really nice if the check style from Preferences could also be exposed in a menu similar to padding color for quick access! On the plus side, it could also make better use of the one-color-only options (White Only, Gray Only, Black Only) which otherwise makes me wonder if people use those as their go-to preference to display transparency (maybe in pixel art?). It would make much more sense as a temporary/switchable option.
