Keystrokes being in^jècted when openïn~g images´as laýers (keystrokes being injected when opening as layers)
I am writing this í~ssue to let you know (as you can see in the text) that keystrokes containing various characters get injected while the import process happens when using the "open image as layers" function.
Here is a sample while holding down the space bar:
" `` "´ ~ "´^^ ´´´``~ " ^ ~ " ^ ``` " ^``^~ " ````~ ´^^~~ "´ ``~ "´ ~ "´^ ~ ´^ `` " ´ `~ "´^^~ "´´`` "´^``~ ´ ~ "´ `~ " ``~ ´^ ~ ´^^~ "´`~~ " "´` ~~ "^ ´^`~ " ^ " ^ " ` ´ ^ ´ ´``^ " `` "´^`~ " ``~ ´^ ~ "´`` "` `~ "´`~~ "´ ~ "´``~ ´´^ "^ ` ´ ` "´ ` "´` "´``~ "´ ~ ^ ~ "´`` ´^ "´``^~ "´``~ "´^^ ´^^ ^^~ "´^ `~ "´``~ ´^^~ ^`~ ´^^~ ´^^
Each grouping seems to correspond with the opening of a file.
Somehow this seems to be linked to the process that updates the progress bar in the import dialog box because the first characters are injected when the progress bar begins and the last one (ofentimes ~) is injected when the progress bar is finished.
This could also lead to potential security issues (injections happen in the Windows password prompt as well when locking the session - potentially locking out the accounts due to too many failed login attempts. Other issues such as injecting unwanted characters in a command prompt could also lead to unwanted behaviors, especially with the character ~
)
Note that this behavior only happens when unrelated, desired keystrokes are performed and does not happen on its own
