Direction(aspect ratio) paint dynamic is completely broken
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.10.28
- Package: Flatpak
- Operating System: Linux Fedora 35 GNOME
Description of the bug
The aspect ratio is always equal to 6~7 to the whole curve. Also, the direction does not print correctly the single dab of aspect.
Reproduction
The bug is always reproducible using the direction(aspect ratio) curve.
Reproduction steps:
- create a new paint dynamic;
- enable the direction(aspect ratio) in the matrix;
- use a parametric brush to test it, for instance, '2. Hardness 100';
- set a constant curve along the x-axis with y=0 and print the aspect and the output is 6~7: would be printed a perfect round, with aspect equal to zero.
- set now, a constant curve along the x-axis with y=1 and print the aspect and the output is 6~7: and is correct.
Note: the steps are to a partial range, to 0/180 and 90/270 degrees, where the direction is printed correctly only to initial angle (zero degrees) but not the aspect ratio, see point 4.
Waited behaviour:
IMO, the behaviour waited for aspect ratio is to change the aspect from 0 to 5 along the direction. But this doesn't happen.
