Index images have their first color set to white after an image is saved

Description of the bug
Have a few images and converted to indexed i.e. B/W in this example. After saving and closing an image, the next opened image have their index[0] color changed to white
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Open 2-3 images, make sure you have the colors in the index map (convert them all to B/W), and make sure index position 1 has a color that is shown in the image (black for text)
- Change the color index on position 2 (see images)
- Save and close the image
- check the color index on position 1 and see the color is now white.

Expected result: index pos 1 should keep it's original color
Actual result: index pos 1 is white
