Can't remove color space from a 1bit monochrome palette
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.10.24
- Package: gimp.org gimp-2.10.24-setup.exe
- Operating System: Windows 10
Description of the bug
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- On Gimp Went To File/New/Image Size/Made a 3x3(can really be any other size)
- Swich to 1bit color monochrome, image/mode/indexed/use black and white 1 bit pallete
- Drew in a couple of the pixels
- Exported file as a bmp image.
…
Expected result: To have the compatability option window pop up so i can remove the colorspace information and thus be able to reduce the file size.
Actual result: Bmp image saves but no window pops up and the color space information persists.
Additional information
just want to remove the additional color space information from the 1bit monochrome, when i tried to do the same image size on MSpaint i got a smaller file size because MSpaint removes the color space information, i want to be able to remove it on gimp.
