Sphere Designer does not import saved settings properly

Description
Created attachment 305008 Saved Sphere Designer Settings
I created a custom sphere in sphere designer and used the "Save" Button to store the settings in a file (Planet.dat) The contents of the file are:

(Also, I have attached an image consisting of 3 screenshots corresponding each with Texture, Light1 and Light2 settings as they appear in the sphere designer dialog)
If I reset the sphere designer without closing GIMP, or if I close GIMP and start it again and open the sphere designer and "Load" the file, then:

The colors of Texture, Light1 and Light2 are imported, as well as the Texture itself, however, the Scale, Turbulence, Amount and Exposure do not get imported, and default to "0".

The preview top left does not change in accordance with the new settings.

Increasing the "Amount" setting causes the preview to disappear entirely.

If nothing is touched after "Loading" the file and press "OK" to create a sphere, the rendering bar appears and goes from left to right, but at 100% nothing is output in the canvas.
