Rectangle select produces corrupt image in the ui
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.10.22 & 2.10.24
- Package: Installer from gimp.org
- Operating System: Windows 10
Description of the bug
After I use the rectangle select tool to select a rectangle, the image shown in the ui is corrupted. It slowly moves south east, leaving dark bars north and west, and corrupting the image as it moves. I've captured this in a screen recording for a sample image here: https://youtu.be/gqsoXcwsMPo
If I then use the move tool to move the whole image, it's restored - so it looks like it's the display failing rather than the image file itself being corrupted.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? It used to work fine a couple of weeks ago, I'm pretty sure on 2.10.22; I don't know what's changed since. This now happens every single time I use the rectangle select tool, regardless of updating Gimp, rebooting, changing the tool options, trying different image files.
