gimp hangs at startup
launching gimp after a reboot app will stop loading with rainbow wheel, opening activity monitor will also have a rainbow wheel, in the terminal, top shows lldb at 100% cpu issuing a killall -9 lldb will dismiss the stuck window and the stuck activity monitor window attempting to launch gimp again appears to get farther in the startup process before lldb again consumes 100% cpu and the process stop with a rainbow wheel.
the second attempt will result in the gimp error report dialog.
this is when I trigged the sysdiagnose attached here.
Clicking on the re-launch gimp button from the gimp error report dialog resulted in a complete launch of gimp.
this is the second time that I have had this exact process occur. each time with the first launch of gimp after a system reboot.sysdiagnose_2020.09.18_21-10-19-0700_Mac-OS-X_MacBookPro13-3_19G73.tar.gz
