"Save tool options on exit" can't be disabled
Until recently, un-checking "Save tool options on exit" in Preferences/Toolbox meant that the active tool and tool options would not be saved. So you could set up a default tool (e.g. Crop) and options, click Save Tool Options Now, and after that, you would always see that setup at startup.
In 2.10.19, that no longer works. Even if you un-check "Save tool options on exit", whatever tool was active at exit will be saved.
To reproduce:
- Click on Crop in the toolbox,
- go to Prefs, Tool Options, and un-check "Save tool options on exit".
- click "Save tool options now."
- Click on Paintbrush.
- Exit, restart.
- Paintbrush will be selected, not Crop.
- Now activate Crop again. Turn on Fixed: Aspect Ratio.
- Exit, restart. Fixed aspect ratio is still on.
Not all tool options are saved. For instance, if I activate Paintbrush and change the brush size from 8 to 6, then exit and restart, it will be back to 8.
