Printer defaults disregarded when multiple instances of the same printers exist

Description
It may be useful in many cases to define multiple instances of the same physical printer in cups. This, for example, allows users to save defaults related to different printing situations and/or different kinds of paper.
Unfortunately, GIMP seems to disregard printer defaults saved for the different instances of the same physical printer. For example, let us suppose that I define printer A, B, and C, all referring to the same physical printer and all with different default parameters. Whenever I print for the first time, the default of the printer of choice (e.g., B) are taken. In successive prints, even if I change my printer to another one (e.g., A), the parameters remains the ones of the previous printout (printer B). By removing the file print-settings the behavior is correct (i.e., the defaults of the printer of choice are considered).
