Changing the file name in the Export As dialog will still export to the original file name
GIMP version:2.10.14
Note: bug reporters are expected to have verified the bug still exists either in the last stable version of GIMP or on updated development code (master branch).
Operating System: [Windows? macOS? Linux?] macOS
Package: [flatpak? Installer from gimp.org? If another installer, tell us where from]Homebrew
Description of the bug
In the "Export As" Dialog, if you click on a file in an existing folder, the name field will be filled with that file name. This is expected, however if you then edit the name field the system won't register that the name has been edited, and will then proceed to ask if you want to overwrite the file that you initially clicked on. This means that when you are exporting files with similar names you must type in the full name of the file into the name field. This can be time consuming when exporting a large number of files.
Please describe your issue with details. Add screenshot or other files if needed.
