In Python Fu, the PF_PATTERN 'Browse...' button is broken.
GIMP version: 2.10.18
Operating System:: Windows 10, 64 bit
Package: Downloaded directly from gimp.org on April 10, 2020.
Description of the bug
When using Python-Fu, the pattern selector dialog fails to open when the user selects the Browse... button on the PF_OPTION widget.
Instead GIMP reports an error in the error console:
Plug-in "pattern-selector-bug-1.py"
(C:\Users\charles\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins\pattern-selector-bug-1.py)
attempted to install procedure "temp-procedure-number-7" with invalid parameter name "mask width".
Reproduction
I've included a Python-Fu sript. After installing the scipt in the appropriate Python-Fu folder, the script will appear at the bottom of the GIMP's Filters menu:
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Install the script in the user Python-Fu folder in Windows 10.
- Start GIMP.
- Run script from the GIMP/Filters menu. The script appears at the bottom of the menu.
- Activate the Browse... button.
- Note that an error appears in the error console.
…
Expected result:
A pattern selector dialog is supposed to open when the user activates the Browse... button.
Actual result:
The pattern selector is unavailable.
Additional information
It is possible that Python Fu's PF_PATTERN interface has changed, in which case, some documentation would be nice.
