Color picker selection bars are partly displayed with Warning Color on Windows
GIMP version: 2.10.18
Note: bug reporters are expected to have verified the bug still exists either in the last stable version of GIMP or on updated development code (master branch).
Operating System: [Windows]
Package: Installer from gimp.org, portable installer on PortableApps.com
Description of the bug
Please describe your issue with details. Add screenshot or other files if needed.
When using the color picker, the bars on the right appears partly or entirely pink. It should let the color appear instead. This is the case for multiple versions of GIMP 2.10 that I tried, including 2.10.14 and 2.10.18 (latest at the time of writing). To me, this pink color reminds me of what is used for alpha selection. I also noticed that GIMP 2.10 uses GTK3 while GIMP 2.8 used GTK2, so it might be a problem coming from GTK3.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Open GIMP 2.10.18 on Windows

- See the bars
…
Expected result: I would expect the color picker to behave like this (screenshot from GIMP 2.8.22)
Actual result:
Note :
This is called the "Warning color" in GIMP Color Management options, and if I try to change it, the color picker error changes accordingly. For example, here I changed it from pink to green:
