Gimp 2.10.12 crashes on launch if the path has spaces

GIMP v2.10.12 crashes on launch if it's sitting on a path that has spaces
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Create a folder called "Image Editors" inside the macOS /Applications folder
- Move the GIMP-2.10 app to the "Image Editors" folder
- Double click on the App to start the GIMP
…
Expected result:
GIMP should launch normally, as it happened until GIMP v2.10.10
Actual result:
The GIMP icon jumpts on the macOS dock some 10 times, then stops. The application doesn't start.
Additional information
If you open a Terminal and execute GIMP-2.10.app/Contents/MacOS/gimp manually, it will cough out a bunch of warnings, but will start normally.
