Enhancements to the Measure and Path tools
Currently the distance, the angle, and difference in x and y are shown. The angle, however, constantly changes how it is measured. It would be VERY useful to have the angle displayed, IN ADDITION, always in reference to an y-axis (bottom to top with origin at the first point of the measurement) measured clockwise from the axis. Thus ranging from 0 to 359.9999 degrees. Call this "absolute angle". For example a difference of 100, 0 (straight right) would be 90 degrees 0, 100 (straight down) would be 180 degrees 100, 0 (straight left) would be 270 degrees straight up would be 0 degrees An example of use: You want to have the same orientation of two pictures. You measure the angle of some line in both and then just subtract the two absolute angles and in the rotate tool you just type in the value. Currently you need to check what the reported angle is with respect to and do the appropriate, error prone, calculations.
One may also like to have the difference in x and y with a sign, for example measuring from 100, 100 to 90, 110 would be -10, 10
Using the paths tool only the coordinates of the next point is shown. It would be very useful if the same information as for the measure tool is displayed.
