[PATCH] Foreground Select Tool improvements
I have began some work to improve the foreground select tool.
This first patch adds a new preview called "Grayscale", allowing to see the resulting mask in black and white. The previous preview is now called "On color" and allow users to choose the color and opacity, instead of imposing only 4 colors (red, green, blue, grey)
Other patches will follow (still in wip state):
-
a new option to automatically expand the known regions during trimap painting, reducing the number of unknown pixels. Thus, it will decrease the time needed to create an accurate trimap, decrease the processing time and improve the quality of the resulting mask, whatever the matting engine chosen.
-
a way to initialize the trimap from the current selection (if not empty) instead of starting from scratch with the free select tool approach.
-
a rewrite of the matting-levin operation to reduce the huge quantity of allocated memory.
