GIMP main window does not remember custom window size (probably due do gnome shell)
Steps to reproduce:
- Start
gimp-2.10.10-1.module_f30+3878+d4400ad3.x86_64
on Fedora 30 - See main window and detached Toolbox window displayed
- Resize main window via dragging with the mouse pointer, make sure main window still starts at 0x0 in upper left corner below the GNOME top bar
- Go to Edit > preferences > Window Management
- Click "Save Window Positions Now"
- Click "OK"
- Close GIMP
- Start GIMP again
Actual outcome:
Window size covers entire desktop (minus GNOME top bar); Toolbox window covers main window
Expected outcome:
Window size should be the custom window size that I had just saved.
Additional comments:
Problem does not happen if the main window is "far away enough" from the top and left edge of the screen
