Improve Gimp Python documentation

Description
I was wondering if the documentation in the Gimp Python Console could be improved ?
In the console for example:
help(gimp) - This provides a basic list of everything available, but help(gimp.Image.add_layer) - really doesn't provide details needed...
In comparison, if you do:
import math and help(math) or >>> help(math.sqrt) - It's a little more detailed and helpful...
I am willing to volunteer to do this, but I really don't understand everything... (thats why I was looking for help in the first place)...
So... If there is a developer that is willing to teach me, show me which files to edit, and answer my questions, I can do the typing...
A lot of the info is already covered here: http://www.gimp.org/docs/python/index.html - So those would be easy...
I don't have a lot of time but I could probably do a few items a day... and once everything was caught up, as long as a developer documented when changes were made it would pretty much take care of itself...
Version: git master
