‘T-pose-ition issue’: Path tracing seeks unassigned pixel in top left
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.10.36 (revision 1)
- Package: gimp.org
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit 10.0.19045.4170
Description of the bug
When selecting Text along path, the final pixel was pulled to the very top left of the image, where no path existed.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible?
Reproduction steps:
- Type text ‘Laupet’ using font Tangerine Bold
- Right-click font layer, select Text along path Error always reproduces as long as the text ends in ‘t’. Removing the final ‘t’ makes the text render normally. Closing and reopening the file does not change the behaviour.
…
Expected result: The text would follow the outlined path.
Actual result: The final t extends to 0,0.
Additional information
If you have a backtrace for a crash or a warning, paste it here.
Lengthening the path just ever so slightly fixed the issue. Screenshots on Discord: https://discord.com/channels/401713534116823043/401729229039075328/1226527863940055152
