Additional information
Some achromatic pictures treated by hue-chroma (maximizing chroma value) 1.
The arrangement of colored pixels allows us to conclude that we are dealing with simple rounding errors. It affects all pixels, but in the case of achromatic pixels it is much easier to detect and has more related consequences. In general, converting the RGB pixel values of the loaded image to normalized gfloat values and "forgetting" the actual gint values is nothing more than looking for problems. Honestly, preventing the consequences won't be easy, even with treatments such as "if ( x<EPSILON )" etc.
