Keyboard Cmd ⌘ not working in Export dialog
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.10.36 on Mac Sonoma
Description of the bug
Before upgrading to the latest version, I was able to paste text in the Export Image dialog for Name, and I could also use command-left-arrow and command-right-arrow for jumping to the beginning and end of a file name. Now no keyboard commands are working at all. Cannot paste text, and cannot conveniently jump to the beginning and end of text. I don't know if this is yet ANOTHER Sonoma bug (of which there are MANY, thanks Apple) or a Gimp bug. But since copy/paste and cursor positioning via keyboard is working in Pages, Numbers, Mail, etc this suggests it's more a Gimp issue than a Mac issue.
Reproduction
Always
Reproduction steps:
- shift-command-e to open the Export Image dialog
- Export Image dialog is open with Name text highlighted. Press command-v to past copied text into the Name value. Nothing happens.
- Press command-right-arrow to jump to the end of Name text. Nothing happens.
Expected result: Expectation is that copied text is pasted into the dialog, and cursor moves to beginning or end of text with keyboard shortcuts.
Actual result: Copied text is not pasted, cursor does not respond to keyboard shortcuts.
