Jigsaw preview issues
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.99.16, present in GIMP_2_99_16-1084-ga90f731d
- Package: Flatpak and compiled from source
- Operating System: Linux
Description of the bug
Preview of the jigsaw plug-in is working differently in 2.99.16 than in 2.10.36, and shows some odd behavior.
In 2.10.36 the preview is scaled down to the preview windows. No scrollbars present.
In 2.99.16 with an image wider than it's high, it seems scaled to the width of the preview window. Scrollbars are also present even though the whole image is shown. Below the scaled preview a piece of the unscaled original image is shown.
Same source image as in previous image, but it has been rotated so that it's higher than it's wide. There now are two scaled previews filling the preview window.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Open an image
- Filters->Render->Patterns->Jigsaw
- Make sure that Preview is checked
…
Expected result: Either the scaled image to be shown without scrollbars as it was in 2.10.36, or to show the unscaled image with scrollbars, as in other plug-ins like NL-filter or despeckle
Actual result: The preview image is scaled and also has scrollbars
