On HTML table file export, html is not recognized as right extension
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: GIMP_2_99_16-997-g1553f8b8
- Package: Built from source
- Operating System: Linux
Description of the bug
One more small issue on file export. When choosing to export to HTML table
, the extension is set to html.
However, when then clicking the Export button the following dialog is shown:
The given file extension does not match the chosen file type.
Do you want to save the image using this name anyway?
If one changes the extension to .htm
before clicking Export, that dialog is no longer shown. This is a bit weird though as both htm and html are listed as extensions in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/blob/master/plug-ins/common/file-html-table.c#L173
On 2.10.36 flatpak the extension is also set to .html
, and there is no question dialog about changing the extension.
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Open a file
- File->Export As, choose
HTML table
as file type. The suggested extension is .html - Click export
- Question dialog about wrong extension is shown.
…
Expected result: The export dialog to be shown without complaints about extension.
Actual result: "Wrong extension" question dialog is shown first.
