meson.build:1803:0: ERROR: Nonexistent build file 'build/windows/meson.build' (useless "build/windows" directive under Linux)
Environment/Versions
- GIMP version: 2.99
- Package: from source
- Operating System: Mint 21
Description of the bug
After compiling everything you get meson.build:1803:0: ERROR: Nonexistent build file 'build/windows/meson.build'
Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible? Always
Reproduction steps:
- Grab the whole git source code
- Compile all dependencies (I had to compile
gegl
,babl
andappstream
source code as well) - Then
meson setup --wipe build
- Then
cd build
- And
ninja && ninja install
…
Expected result: Compilation works
Actual result:
You get meson.build:1803:0: ERROR: Nonexistent build file 'build/windows/meson.build'
Additional information
To be able to compile I had to modify the meson.build
from this:
1803 subdir('build/windows')
to this:
1803 if host_machine.system() == 'windows'
1804 subdir('build/windows')
1805 endif
Then everything worked, maybe a small change in code source is enough
